I just watched this video about brushing the teeth in a dog. I'd written at an earlier point asking about this as my three yr. old G.R. just wants to chew on the brush. I was heartened to hear the advice you gave & that it will work on an older dog vs. having had to start the process as a puppy.

Tellington Ttouch has an excellent method on how to approach an animal' s mouth. Also, it reminds us that the limbic nervous system has nerves on the lips, so the special touches there are like a therapy for emotional release.
